Thursday, November 19, 2015, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Achim IRIMESCU, had a meeting with a delegation of businessmen represented by Dr. A.S. Bindra, president of one of the biggest companies in India operating in the field of import-export and project development (IBS Synergies India Pvt.Ltd.).

Minister Achim Irimescu said that investors have all the support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, as such investment is welcomed in our country, especially because Romania's exports consist mainly of feedstock.
”Romania needs high added value goods and integrating production in such an investment provides development opportunities. Over time, we exported more commodities and less processed products. We intend to improve our exports of processed products with high added value”, said Achim Irimescu during the talks.
Also the businessmen said they had already started the procedures for registering a company in Romania, being interested in implementing as soon as possible the investment. At the meeting with the Minister of Agriculture, the businessmen delegation was accompanied by a banker from Switzerland.
