OBJECTIVES

  • Promoting the improvement activity of pigs' livestock towards enhancing the quality of pork carcass.
  • Stimulating the organisation of holdings in associations, to represent the interests of suppliers in relation to inputs and finished goods recipients.
  • Ensuring their income by capitalizing the production of goods for export.

  • Improving the pigs' livestock to enhance the quality of pork carcass.
  • Stimulating the organisation of competitive and efficient farms in the rural area.
  • Improving the dimensional structure of livestock exploitations.
  • Increasing the incomes of swine breeders.
  • The transition from self-consumption production to commercial production.

RECOVERY AND REHABILITATION OBJECTIVES ON MEDIUM AND LONG TERM

  • Alignment with EU standards on how subsidies are granted in order to balance the manufacturer selling price with the expenditure incurred on the product.
